The True Cost of Oil: Photography exhibition at Musée Héritage Museum

For our first exhibition in 2016, the Musée Héritage Museum is pleased to present the wonderful photography of Garth Lenz in an exhibition called The True Cost of Oil.

These stunning photographs of the Boreal Forest regions and Alberta Oil Sands highlight the impact of oil on the surrounding environment. Garth Lenz is an award winning photographer who has had his work featured on numerous publications, such as Time Magazine, New York Times, and BBC Wildlife Magazine among many more.

The True Cost of Oil has travelled across the globe and is finally back home in Alberta. This exhibition will be hosted at our museum from February 2 – April 17, 2016. Please join us for our opening reception on February 6 from 2pm – 5pm.

We are delighted that Garth Lenz will be on hand at the opening reception on February 6 to meet with our visitors and discuss the photographs.  He will be giving a formal presentation, about his work, at 3pm at the reception.

Be sure to check out this extraordinary exhibition that runs until April 17 at the Musée Héritage Museum in St. Albert.
