Start the school year in a good way by visiting St. Albert’s Historic River Lot + Grain Elevator Park to discover the importance of the bison to local Métis and First Nations. In this 45-minute program exclusive to September 2022, your class will handle bison bones, learn about traditional uses of the bison, and explore our outdoor exhibition Lii Buflo: A Métis Way of Life. We encourage you to walk down with your class & stay onsite for lunch before or after your program.
