This week’s Museum Moment is about how we are Partners in Education and all the ways that we at the Musée Héritage Museum and Heritage Sites in St. Albert do that. Education is happening in a variety of ways at the Musée Héritage Museum, and it continues to be a great place to learn about your local community and the impact that it has made to the region and our Province.
By accessing the many resources that we have, including the people who work here, you will find a wealth of exciting artifacts, archival materials, programming materials, lived experience oral histories and exceptional programs that will add to your learning journey. The Museum continues to work hard to meet the needs of our community, and provide educational programming, while following all required health and safety protocols. Many of the programs we offer have been adapted and moved online.
Teachers have been bringing special requests and ideas for programs to our Program Manager who is creating custom designed interactive programs online, like the weaving project pictured here.
We are also here if you have something more specific in mind.
Maybe a walking tour to learn more about the history of the community. We also have adapted Guides and Scout badge programs, Remembrance Kits for Seniors and can help you to learn to weave or bead.
