With the new year comes our annual exhibitions catalogue that highlights all of the exhibitions that will be featured in 2016 at the Musée Héritage Museum. Also included in the catalogue are exhibitions featured at the Art Gallery of St. Albert.
For the Musée Héritage Museum, we start the year with, The True Cost of Oil, a photographic exhibition by Garth Lenz that consists of stunning photographs from the boreal region and Alberta Oil Sands. The exhibition opens February 2, with a special presentation given by Garth Lenz at the opening on February 6 at 2pm.
We follow up with, Celebrate St Albert!, an exhibition opening April 26 that looks at public celebrations that have taken place in St. Albert. Satisfaction Guaranteed, opening June 28, will highlight part of our museum collection specifically looking at business promotional and advertising materials and products from the St. Albert area. Weiller and Williams Co. Ltd: Building a Livestock Empire, opening September 20, will take a special look at a major player in the regional livestock industry. And we close out the year with our annual Take Your Best Shot youth photo contest exhibition, opening November 18, 2016.
