St. Albert Heritage Sites interpreters ready to welcome visitors to the historic sites!

In preparation for the summer season our interpreters took tours of the Father Lacombe Chapel Provincial Historic site and St. Albert Grain Elevator Park in early May.

This year our interpreters also had the opportunity to visit Elk Island Park and participate in a training exercise with other Northern Alberta Provincial Heritage Site Summer Interpreters. They walked out to see the bison (at a safe distance) and played a game called ‘Bison Surviving’
