We’ve had a very busy November at the Musée Héritage Museum. We were once again honoured to be open for Remembrance Day 2019. Thank you to all who attended the ceremony on St. Anne Street and then dropped in to visit our museum. We are gratified that our visitors were very engaged with our displays and took the time to ask questions and have discussions with staff on a variety of subjects.Snowflake Festival was again another busy day this year on the evening of November 22. We had hot drinks and crafts for kids.
We also opened our new exhibition from the Canadian War Museum, Enemy Aliens, that looks at the internment camps created in Canada during the First World War, with added information discussing the camps created in Canada during the Second World War.The exhibition will be open to the public until January 19, 2020. We hope that people will be engaged with a topic that many Canadians probably don’t know a lot about. We had some really interesting questions and comments from our visitors regarding this exhibition on opening day.As we look forward to the holiday season, please stay tuned to our museum website for our hours of operation as we will be open throughout the season. If you have any comments or questions, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or 780-459-1528.
