Museum Moment: Behind the scenes of assisting with community projects

It is hard to believe that it has been a year since we first started adapting to the reality of living and working during a worldwide pandemic. At the Musée Héritage Museum staff have adjusted the way they work but there is still a lot of work to accomplish!

The Programming team have developed virtual programs that support the Alberta curriculum are presented to students from Kindergarten to Grade 12. For more information about the programs go to Education Programs

Walking tours have been very popular this year as we look forward to Spring and getting outdoors. Following covid protocols, for maximum numbers who can gather together outdoors and wearing masks, we have been able to share local history with families, Girl Guides and Brownie groups.

The Musée Héritage Museum has put the Pandemic: A Cautionary Tale exhibition (2019) online and we encourage you to have a look at the history and then share your experiences and thoughts about the Covid pandemic as we continue to gather stories for the archives.

If you are looking for genealogical information or historic photos or are doing research for a school project the Musée Héritage Museum Archivist is available to assist. Contact the Archivist at archives@artsandheritage.ca.
