Heritage Sites Moment: Walking Tours 2021

Due to current health restrictions, the Musée Héritage Museum is not open for in-person programming. However, we have been connecting with the school community virtually with popular programs like the Inuit Program and our I Belong program.

Now that the weather is warming up, we have been booking walking tours that take groups of  people on outdoor walks while sharing stories and photographs of historic St. Albert. Are you curious about the early years of St. Albert’s mission? Our Mission Hill tour shares the stories of the St. Albert Mission, founded in 1861.

Perron Street downtown has seen many changes over the years and our Downtown Tour will spark your interest in the earliest businesses in the heart of our city.

The ancient Sturgeon River has a rich natural and cultural history that will fascinate you on our scenic Riverside tour.

One of best resources you find along the trails in St. Albert are the Founders’ Walk panels and an interpreter can take you on a guided tour of these panels sharing stories of the community over time with you!

Pictures from the Riverside Tour:If you have a particular interest in mind or just want to experience something active and engaging, call or email the museum to sign up for a walking tour with our museum staff.
