“Celebrate St. Albert!”–the new exhibition at the Musée Héritage Museum– is now open to the public. In this exhibition we highlight the many celebrations and festivities in the City of St. Albert’s rich history.
Using some very colourful photographs, stories, bright banners and a stuffed moose you will learn about the many things this community has celebrated over the years!
In addition to the archival materials and artifacts from our own museum collection, we were fortunate to have items loaned from various institutions including the City of St. Albert, the National Stiltwalkers of Canada, and many local organizations that have helped create wonderful celebrations and events in our community, both past and present.
You can expect to see creatures, soldiers, signs, flags, posters, artwork, t-shirts, one screaming girl (who’s not too loud), and a video highlight of some older celebrations that were recently digitized from our archival collections.
Be sure to drop in to check out this very animated exhibition celebrating St. Albert.
“Celebrate St. Albert!” is open until June 19, 2016. And…
